Art is my way of expressing who I am and how I see the world. Being creative allows me to use my imagination and discover a new way of looking at things. My main goal as an artist is to have fun and be experimental. I find that creating art is my way of connecting with my higher self and with those around me.
My process as an artist begins with looking around for inspiration. I find a lot of inspiration in nature, museums and the people around me. I am very inspired while traveling and in cities and urban areas. I enjoy using a variety of mediums in my pieces. When I’m painting I prefer to work with oil paint because it is so smooth and bendable. I really enjoy using bold and vibrant colors in most of my pieces.
One of my favorite parts of my artistic process is building my own canvases. When I’m creating a mixed media piece I enjoy combining my photographs, drawings, painting, and found objects.
