Four Days in Mammoth

Four Days in Mammoth

This past weekend I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend snowboarding with my friends in Mammoth. We drove up from Santa Barbara very late on Thursday night. We didn’t get into Mammoth until about 3:30am on Friday morning. Friday we did not make it up too early to the mountain, but we did get out and go for some runs. However, at around 2:30pm most of the mountain was closed due to weather. The storm came through and it was snowing at our condo in Mammoth Lakes Saturday morning. However when we got on the mountain the snow had stopped. We still had a fun day on the mountain and met up with Woolley after his parade 🙂

On Sunday it dumped snow all day! Epic powder day!!

We had planned to stay through Monday and it had stopped snowing, but we had a lot of fun since the top of the mountain was opened. There was still very think coverage in a lot of areas, but we found a lot of fun spots to ride especially through the trees.

After four fun filled days it was time to head back to Santa Barbara. Gotta love the beautiful views driving back home.
